India (ICSI) has announced a significant change for CS Executive students.
Effective from February 1, 2025, the One Day Orientation Programme (ODOP) will
be replaced with the new Three Days Orientation Programme (TDOP). This change
aims to provide a more comprehensive and in-depth orientation for aspiring
company secretaries.
Key Details of the TDOP
Starting from February 1, 2025, all
students registered for the CS Executive Programme are required to complete the
Three Days Orientation Programme (TDOP) before submitting their examination
forms. Here are the key details:
· Duration: Three
days
· Mode: The
TDOP can be completed at the Regional Offices and Chapter offices of ICSI.
· Eligibility: Students registered for the CS Executive Programme on or
after February 1, 2025.
Objectives of the TDOP
The TDOP is designed to achieve the
following objectives:
· Introduction to the Profession: Provide an overview of the company
secretary profession, its roles, and responsibilities.
· Understanding the Curriculum: Familiarize students with the CS
Executive syllabus, exam pattern, and study strategies.

How to Register for the TDOP
Eligible students can register for the
TDOP through the ICSI Stimulate portal. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Visit the Stimulate Portal: Access the Stimulate portal on the
ICSI website.
2. Select TDOP: Choose the Three Days Orientation
Programme (TDOP) from the list of available training programs.
3. Upload Documents: Upload the required documents,
including proof of registration for the CS Executive Programme.
4. Complete Payment: Pay the applicable fee for the TDOP.
5. Confirmation: Receive a confirmation email with
details of the TDOP schedule and venue.
